Resumen

Job crafting can increase subjective well-being in organizations by allowing employees to adapt their roles to their strengths and preferences. The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between job crafting and subjective well-being in employees of the financial sector in the department of Junín in Peru. The study had a quantitative approach and non-experimental, cross-sectional descriptive correlational design; There was a sample of 358 subjects to whom the Job Crafting Questionnaire (Wrzesniewski and Dutton, 2001) and the Subjective Well-being Questionnaire (Diener, 2000) were applied. Considerable positive evaluation (τ =.808) and significant (p<.001) was found between both variables. It is concluded that the more developed job crafting is, the greater the subjective well-being of employees within organizations.
