Resumen
The aim for this study is to develop a simulation of an automated Peruvian avocado classification system based on computer vision. In order to develop the computer vision process, the principle of learning by transfer was analyzed and a flowchart for Factory IO and TIA Portal simulation was created. An environmental system simulation was procured through the software Factory IO, as well as image processing through the Teachable Machine software. Whereby, the characteristics of the three avocado varieties were introduced, and the system had the ability to select the avocados with the data. In conclusion, the current design optimized the process by automatizing the selection and storage of the avocados reducing the execution time for both processes.
