Resumen
The general objective of the work was to determine the existence of a relationship between the variables labor productivity and telecommuting in the public sector during the national emergency period. From the methodological point of view, the study was of an applied type, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, according to its scope it was correlational and according to how the data were observed, it was cross-sectional. The population consisted of 960 workers from a public organization in Metropolitan Lima, in addition, a probabilistic sampling was carried out, which resulted in the selection of 130 workers from the population. The technique used was the survey and the questionnaire was used as an instrument, which was configured with 20 propositions related to the variables labor productivity and teleworking, as well as their dimensions, each question had 5 response alternatives according to a Likert scale. The descriptive analysis of the data was carried out, through the calculation of absolute and relative frequencies for each variable and dimension. On the other hand, the normality of the data was evaluated through the Kolmogórov-Smirnov test, and then the inferential analysis was carried out using the Spearman’s Rho statistic, which allowed calculating the respective correlations between the variables and dimensions. Finally, the results were discussed and then conclusions were drawn.
