Resumen

The overall objective was to apply data envelope analysis (hereinafter DEA) to improve the management of accredited academic programs. The research approach was quantitative with the inductive-deductive method, explanatory level, and quasi-experimental design. The population and sample were the seven accredited academic programs of the Faculty of Engineering of Continental University. The technique for data collection were surveys and the review of information, the instrument was the questionnaire and observation sheets. It was concluded that the management of accredited academic programs of the Continental University presents differences before and after applying for DEA, which can be interpreted as significantly improving the management of accredited academic programs of the Continental University.
