Resumen
At present, humanity is facing an environmental emergency that has put life at extreme limits for its conservation from a global perspective of the age of knowledge. This essay constitutes a reflection on the ethical foundations that are present in three landmark documents of concern for the environment: Belgrade Charter (1972), Earth Charter (2000) and Querida Amazonia (2020). The fundamental interest is to highlight the elements that contribute to the formulation of an educational model focused on the conservation of life, thus highlighting the preferential option for the poor, solidarity, care and preservation of nature in this new era where the man has advanced so much in the scientific and technological thing towards a more ample and conservationist thought.
