Resumen
One of the problems at the present time in the world is the incorrect treatment of the solid waste. One of the solutions has direct relationship with the environmental education of our inhabitants, especially the children who will inhabit the planet in the near future. In the Educational Institution “Nuestra señora de Lourdes”, of the District “La Union”, Huánuco, Peru, it is carried out a program of teaching of environmental-understanding. This study is guided to demonstrate the educational effectiveness of the program for children's environmental understanding, which have around 11 years old and study at this institution, on the topic of administration of solid residuals. They were applied two surveys to 34 students, one before and another after passing the program. The goal is to evaluate the students’ knowledge about the topic and the effectiveness of the program. The survey was based on a Likert scale of qualitative linguistic measure that is very appropriate for the children of that age. Compensatory Fuzzy Logic was used for processing the data, it is based on axioms common to both logic and decision theory. Logical predicates were evaluated and approved by a group of five experts in the topic and their results were compared between two times, before and after the students passed the program.
