Resumen
Within the study of self-perception a particular line of research has been the study of the consequences of affective states, especially the effect of mood on self-concept. The current study was aimed to examine the relationship between mood and self-concept judgments using a methodology that has not been used in previous studies, the Natural Semantic Networks Technique. Results support the Associative Network Theory and the Affect Infusion Model. Indeed, a congruence between positive and negative mood and positive and negative self-concept, respectively, was found.
