Resumen
The construction industry has many stakeholders, which generates many communication channels that are not properly managed, so poor communication in the project can lead to the scope, time and cost objectives not being met. Therefore, to solve this problem, methodologies such as Design Thinking have been proposed, which help to improve communication between stakeholders; however, few studies apply Design Thinking in the construction site and can show its benefits for communication management. That is why the following research aims to develop a methodology to improve the flow of information at the stage of construction finishes through the Design-Thinking method and thereby improve communications and coordination on-site. An easily accessible tool such as the Whatsapp mobile application that the team of engineers and foremen can use is sought to improve the flow of information. Also, a communication structure is established with a practical and professional language for construction sites. The following research will contribute to professionals in the construction sector who want to improve the communication flow in their construction projects.
