Resumen

This research work presents the development of an educational portable mechatronic device that improves learning in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder from the age of three. The design of the educational device aims to support with learning through structured and focused interaction with games and activities that improve attention and memory, this improves and keeps children engaged with immediate and positive feedback, this approach helps to keep children motivated and engaged, providing immediate and positive feedback. The device is also notable for its attractive mechanical design, made from PLA material. The device uses a Raspberry Pi 3 controller, which controls the educational device with great efficiency and sufficient memory to store and carry out the purpose for which it was designed. In addition, it includes a 7-inch touch screen that improves interaction with the user, making it more intuitive. It also has speakers that emit white noise, which helps to improve children's attention. A mixed methodology between VDI 2206 and MIT was used to achieve the proposed objectives. The results of this research promise to improve attention and memory with a pleasant and practical design, a stable structure, an intuitive mechanism and electronic components suitable for children with mild ADHD.
