Resumen

Within the context of the Sincos District in its high Andean areas, there is the Aramachay Community that suffers from the intense cold. The study proposes better thermal comfort in the face of low temperatures inside the homes through a biothermal insulator made of materials from the area, during the period 2023. The research is quasi-experimental since the results that are measured will be described. The research method consists of making biothermal panels with materials of natural origin and seeking thermal comfort in rural homes. The first step is to obtain data on temperature, humidity and wind with instruments using the method without insulation and with insulation. The bio thermal panel is made with local materials, two panels are made with different materials and the different results are compared, this helps us make a decision as to which panel is more viable for application in thermal insulation at the level of the covers of rural homes. The results show that the first test of Ichu Fiber, Barley Straw and Gypsum obtained the lowest temperature at 0.7 °C with humidity of 61.6%Rh, the second test of Ichu Fiber, Barley Straw and Clay the lowest temperature low is 1.1 °C with humidity of 63.9%Rh, which determines that both bio thermal panels are thermal insulators, 1.1 °C with humidity of 63.9%Rh, which determines that both bio thermal panels are thermal insulators, this means that the prototype has a temperature improvement of 1.7 °C with a biothermal panel, gaining heat inside rural homes, gaining heat inside rural homes. This constitutes a possibility of how we can provide better thermal comfort with an alternative based on sustainable development, because it generates social, environmental and economic impacts for the population.
