Resumen
Introduction: Scientific publications allow scientific and technological development on an area of knowledge. Objective: To characterize the scientific production of authors affiliated to Latin American institutions on anxiety and COVID-19. Methods: A review of the publications indexed in the Scopus database related to anxiety and COVID-19 was carried out, specifying that at least one author had affiliation with a Latin American country. Each article was reviewed to select only those publications that studied these variables. Finally, their characteristics were recorded and analyzed using Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer software. Conclusions: Latin American scientific production on anxiety and COVID-19 is still scarce, but it is growing, so it is important to generate alternatives to increase the number of collaborative networks and production.
