Resumen

In the context of electronic commerce, organizations have seen the need to adopt different technologies to optimize and improve their processes, with the use of drones in merchandise delivery logistics being a fundamental factor in the discussion. Despite this, there are conceptual gaps in the literature, which is why the present study aimed to identify the main keywords that would outline the research agenda, based on a bibliometric analysis in the Scopus database between 1998 and 2022. Finding a highly growing theme, mainly for the context of developed countries, with a marked tendency towards research into concepts such as Unmanned aerial vehicles, Last-mile delivery, City logistics and others that point directly to the optimization of resources and processes of organizations.
