Abstract

The digital transformation and the knowledge society have led organizations to generate internal changes and focus their efforts on providing a service and generating products, due to the importance of data and the need to use digital tools. The foregoing allows us to propose as an objective of this research, to analyze the variables that are part of big data in the business context. For the above, the scientometric analysis based on the bibliometric analysis technique is used as a methodology. As a main result, it was obtained that some terms such as business intelligence systems, knowledge management and decision support associated with Big Data have recently emerged. It is concluded that Big Data can be a very valuable support tool for transversal use for the different areas of the organization due to the great variety of applications that it can have.
