Abstract

This research sought to analyze the levels of competitiveness of the five most representative agricultural products of the Netherlands, comparing them with their main competitors. For this, the competitiveness matrix modified by Ramon Lacayo and Cristian Morales to the CEPAL's matrix was used; RCA and ICTB indicators were also analyzed. As a result, the Netherlands showed a high degree of specialization in all the products studied, proving to have a great comparative advantage and a high or constant competitiveness with the main importing countries; thus, making it a benchmark for agricultural production and export in Latin America and in developing countries.
