Abstract
Tourism is considered a key sector in current economic and social development; however, the existence of new technologies has caused the literature to have gaps regarding their use. Reason why this study aims to identify the main research trends around digital marketing in relation to the tourism sector, recognizing relevant topics for future research. This purpose is carried out through a bibliometric analysis in the Scopus database between the years 1996 and 2022. Among the main results, a growing theme was found, explained from the development of themes such as “websites”, “tourism management” among others, allowing to conclude the need to deepen on these keywords in a context of electronic commerce and sustainable development.
