Sistemas informáticos en el confinamiento por la pandemia de COVID-19 en las relaciones intrafamiliares de estudiantes de una universidad pública de Perú

Globally, the COVID-19 pandemic had far-reaching effects on the dynamics of family interactions that will continue to evolve in the years to come. The objective of the research was to determine the impact of COVID-19 pandemic lockdown on the intrafamily relationships of social science students at the National University of the Center of Peru. The study had a quantitative approach and a non-experimental, longitudinal panel design that measured two moments, before and during the pandemic; 373 students from a population of 1,327 were taken as a probabilistic sample, to whom the Intrafamily Relationships Questionnaire, designed and validated for the study, was applied. As a result, it was found that the pandemic had a significant impact on the intrafamily relationships of the sample, positively increasing the dimensions of union and support (from 40.5% to 60.3%) and expression (from 11.3% to 50.9%), and increased with negative effects on the difficulties dimension (from 34.9% to 54.4%). In conclusion, the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown had a significant impact on the intra-family relationships of the population studied, improving expression, union and support; it also increased the difficulties with negative effects, especially economic ones.
