Abstract

while they have upgraded connectivity, and convenience in our daily lives, this Internet of Things Iota era has brought security challenges. CP Systems are the core of Iota, where physical objects embedded with computing systems are, to a high degree, inter-dependability to cyber-attacks. Challenges and Solutions for Protecting Data Abstract This technical abstract describes two recent publications that lay the foundation for securing the IoT-CPSe by combining emerging security architectures, protocols, algorithms and implementations to allow future integrated smart services based on regulated physical systems. The sheer number of connected devices and sensors within an Iota or CPS network is one of the key challenges that make it extremely difficult to control data flow, thus compromising security. In addition, they are frequently under resource and memory-constrained environments, making strong security implementations difficult. Multiple solutions have been offered to tackle these issues, such as strong authentication, communication protocols for secure data transmission, and encryption. Moreover, uses machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms to detect and mitigate cyber-attacks with a real-time response. A comprehensive security framework that incorporates risk assessment, threat detection, and incident response protocols is another key part. This can enable organizations to avoid risks and respond immediately during any security incidents.
