Abstract
This research work presents the design of an educational robot that enhances learning in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder at low cost. The design of the educational robot aims to support learning through structured and focused interaction with games and activities that improve attention and memory, this enhances and keeps children engaged with immediate and positive feedback, it also has a striking mechanical design for the user being the PLA material, as well as a Raspberry Pi 3 controller that controls the educational robot with great efficiency and with enough memory to store and carry out the purpose for which it was designed, also mention about the 7″ touch screen that improves the interaction with the user and the speakers that produce white noise for the improvement of attention. A mixed methodology between VDI 2206 and MIT was used to meet the proposed objectives. The results of this research will improve attention and memory with a pleasant and practical design, a stable structure, intuitive mechanism and electronic components suitable for children with mild ADHD.
