Perspectivas De Una Comunidad Hacia Los Impactos Del Turismo

The main objective of the research is to analyze the perspectives that the community has on the impacts generated by tourism activity; a quantitative approach was used characterized by a descriptive level, it is classified as basic research and non-experimental design, the sample was 383 participants, data collection was carried out through a structured questionnaire with 24 questions on a Likert scale, a survey was used as a tecnic. The result obtained in the economic field was that 55.6% of the participants indicated that the practice of tourism has generated an increase in job opportunities; socioculturally, 45.7% highlighted greater cultural exchange between the population and tourists; and environmentally, 58% mentioned the implementation of programs aimed at the conservation of cultural resources. It is concluded that the impacts are perceived by the community as a positive factor for the development of tourism and a better quality of life.
