Abstract

In Peru, according to the National Road Safety Observatory of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, there were a total of 47629 traffic accidents that caused 1853 deaths and left 30850 with serious injuries. This work develops the mechatronic design through actuators, with approach sensors of an intelligent road for the prevention of accidents on the Qatac-Aija route. For the prototype was made with the Arduino IDE using Autodesk inventor following the use of the VDI 2206 standard, which the pavement was designed with the DIAASHTO-93 methodology. Obtaining a sensor actuator approaching the edges of the Qatac-Aija Road with red and green light signals releasing alarm sounds when approaching 5cm, finally for the vehicle c3 composed of a single axle was obtained a pavement of asphalt layer of 2 inches and a granular base of 4 inches, which contain the mechatronic design.
