Abstract
The study evaluates engineering students' didactic experience and group learning appreciation of mathematics in 28 virtual groups using a teamwork and scientific debate strategy. The results show that the didactic experience supports the development of collaborative work and participation in decision-making. Besides, it establishes that collaboration is essential in problem-solving strategies and the various forms of reasoning and argumentation. Finally, it shows that the experience of the students is very positive.
