Abstract
The study addresses the influence of university education on entrepreneurship, considering physical, intellectual and mental conditions of students. Thus, the objective was to determine the relationship between university education and entrepreneur-ship of students at a university in Lima. The study was applied, with a non-experimental design, a descriptive correlational level, and a quantitative approach. The study universe consisted of 5460 students of a university in Lima, and a purposive sampling was carried out, selecting 355 students belonging to the 8th, 9th and 10th cycles of the administration and engi-neering careers. A questionnaire with 20 questions was used for data collection, each with 5 possible answers, structured in an orderly manner, using a Likert-type scale, all referring to the variables university education and entrepreneurship, as well as their dimensions: physical state, intellectual state and mental state. Data analysis was performed with the SPSS program, and Spearman’s Rho statistic was used for the correlational study. The inferential analysis of the data made it possible to determine the level of relationship between the variables university education and entrepreneurship, in order to formulate conclusions in this regard.
