Abstract
This paper develops a series of reflections and proposals around the specialized teaching in constitutional law that is taught from the field of postgraduate, master’s degrees, in Peru. In recent years, the country’s universities were subject to a general licensing process, the educational offer was reduced, appearing more refined, which motivates the diagnosis that is made. In this way, the norms that regulate university education in Peru are analyzed, as well as the academic products foreseen for obtaining degrees. The problem of thesis production is also addressed, as well as the difficulties that students face and that end up limiting their academic work. As a remedy to the circumstances described, recommendations are offered on the applicable methodology for the studies, the topics that are relevant to be addressed, and the skills linked to the develops of knowledge.
