Abstract
Retail stores worldwide generate economic development; their importance lies in their management to compete in the market. This study aims to understand the techniques in Supply Chain Management (SCM) in retail stores in the last 5 years to achieve competitive advantage and greater profitability. To do this, searches were carried out in the Scopus and Science Direct databases, obtaining 2162 articles; the inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied, resulting in 27 articles for analysis. The comprehensive questions delved into the frequent problems, challenges, and success factors retail stores faced. Based on our articles, we can conclude that managing a GCS effectively reduces costs, improves efficiency, and guarantees consumer satisfaction.
