Abstract
The main objective of this research is to determine the influential factors in digital identity management in personal learning environments. The methodology used for the study corresponds to nonexperimental research; the questionnaire was applied to a sample of 292 randomly selected university students, and validity and reliability tests and analysis were used to update the model. For data analysis, modeling of structural equations of partial least squares was used. The most prominent results indicate strong causal relationships between the exchange of information and content and interaction through digital technologies. Similarly, interaction through digital technologies and copyright and licensing protects the environment and its influence on the management of digital identity.
