Abstract

The area of rehabilitation is the field that treats the physiological problems of a person, where endless therapeutic methods are used that are based on the experience of the physiotherapist. The use of accessories and equipment is important to support the physiotherapist in the different stages of the rehabilitation of the patients. One of the problems that the physiotherapist must deal with is the stage of recovery of mobility, whether the origin is pathological diseases or accidents. Currently, in Peru, the way to measure joint mobility is by using a goniometer, where the measurement is done manually, which leaves considerable margins of error. In addition, no equipment adapts to Peruvian anthropometry anymore. that are imported from a market with different anthropometry. The objective is to design and implement a mechatronic device that allows controlling joint mobility of the right upper extremity for Peruvian anthropometry. The development process led to a mechanical design that is made in the inventor software to later print it in 3D, in addition to the use of telescopic sliders, an electrical design that uses the analysis of a morphological matrix for the selection of its components. The final product is made by assembling it physically and attaching it to its control panel.
