Abstract

The research presents the design and implementation of a PCB board to control the display and electrodes in a neural helmet designed in response to the problems presented, the project has two sections: the electronic design and the IOT for the user interface. The operation of the system is based on the use of a helmet with a system capable of recognizing the variation in the user's pulse and thus activate different levels of action such as music playback, the presentation of audiovisual content and vibrations focused on relaxation, depending on how altered the patient is. The electronic design focuses on controlling the helmet's visor, giving it the maneuverability to find the user's preferred angle. The IOT was designed to inform about the user's status to a person related to the user, the login is simple and the dashboard presents the user's information such as heart rate and the action level in which the helmet is, it also presents a comparative table between yesterday and today of the variation of the action levels that the helmet activates at different times of the day. The results obtained show new perspectives for the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease and provide alternatives for the development of more effective therapies, improving the quality of life of people affected by this disease and their environment.
