Abstract
This article presents the design and control of a home automation system through a didactic voice interface called 'Yanapay 2.0', which will allow controlling various aspects of a home such as hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical systems efficiently for people with motor disabilities of lower limbs. The development of the project shows that the application of the voice interface will establish a generalized control of the various mechanisms and systems through specific voice commands, without the need for the person to make much effort. In addition, a human face was added to the interface design to create an eye-catching and didactic platform for the interaction between Yanapay 2.0 and the user. Therefore, the home automation system controlled by the didactic voice interface 'Yanapay 2.0' will be able to improve the quality of life and comfort of people with motor disabilities of their lower limbs at home.
