Abstract

This project proposes a design of a spinal deviation detector robot by means of a mechanical system and artificial vision, it is composed of three parts which are the mechanical system, artificial vision system and the electronic system, this machine will help a lot in the field of medicine as it will have an automatic mechanism for the measurement of parameters. The research developed was carried out in order to optimize the evaluation time, quickly detect the problem of deviation of the patient's spine and thus carry out an immediate treatment in case of seriousness in which a not so extensive procedure will be obtained and this will allow the doctor to perform his work activities efficiently as technology has been growing positively in many aspects. The process starts with turning on the system, then the robot is placed on the patient's back, making vertical movements, measuring parameters through the viewer in which the data will be sent to a graphical interface where it will be stored and finally the analysis of the deviation of the patient's spine will be made. The results of the study, which is based on previous studies and with mechanical design software, artificial vision and electronics, concluded that this automatic machine has many benefits that will contribute to medicine for the efficient early analysis of spinal deviation in adolescents and children.
