Abstract
The studies on collaborative tools arose to be able to exchange information virtually. That is to say, different ways of communication are opened, which reflects improvements in the workflow, besides helping us develop the planned project and its follow-up well. These tools have, therefore, an increase in productivity. The study identified the different technological tools, type of use, operating system compatibility, file-sharing tools, and their application. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to document a systematic review of the different collaborative tools for project management, from their use to their application. The objective is to provide a structured investigation that integrates the components. For proper research, different databases and search engines were used, which helped to collect research from 2018 to 2022, where other projects were analyzed about relationships of these tools with technological surveillance carried out in different countries such as Colombia, Argentina, Spain, etc. and applied in various industries such as Health, Education, Agriculture, etc.
