Abstract
This research aims to analyze the influence of Lean Government methodology on the processes of local governments, based on understanding the most commonly used lean tools in the public sector, their application and perception, and the impacts obtained on processes. This analysis was carried out through a systematic review of scientific literature, using reliable databases and applying search equations and inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that the most commonly used tools are: A3 Thinking, Kanban, 5's, Visual Controls, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Map; that the perception by workers was positive both in terms of their work and their profession, and finally, that based on data obtained from process improvements where there was a reduction of approximately 14% in hiring expenses, it can be guaranteed that the implementation of Lean Government in local government processes will have a positive influence.
