Abstract

The mining industry is a key business due to its constant output, and timely supply is critical to its operation. Recurring issues with delivery delays and receiving improper supplies have a significant impact on sustainability. This article covers the characteristics that allow for effective supplier relationship management, emphasizing the role of sustainability in this assessment. It also provides a strategic model for developing plans and enhancing a mining company's supplier selection and evaluation processes, known as SSM. Based on a survey of the literature, this study identified a strong and reliable supplier classification model that will allow for supplier selection and evaluation. This is achieved by combining KPM and SRM techniques and implementing the F -AHP and F-TOPSIS procedures, which are based on the best management criteria and the impact of the supplies they provide. The data indicates which supplier is best suited to developing a plan for the six types of supplies from the three maj or families studied. Similarly, eight suppliers are deemed in need of replacement, and the decision to discontinue relationships with some of them is made. Furthermore, it was discovered that the Lubricants II product lacked suitable suppliers, presenting an opportunity to establish new ties with other providers.
