With a solid background as a Mining Engineer, with a master's degree in Ecology and Environmental Management, I completed my doctorate in Engineering with a mention in Environmental Sciences at the National University of Huancavelica (UNH). Throughout my twenty years of professional experience, I have played crucial roles in the mining industry and academia. My passion for teaching has been reflected in a 12-year teaching career at higher education institutions, including the Continental University, the National University of Huancavelica, and the Technological University of Peru, as well as in various Higher Institutes. I have shared my knowledge and experiences with generations of students. My contribution to research is evidenced in the publication of scientific articles in various journals and chapters of research books, highlighting my commitment to the advancement of knowledge in ecology and environmental sciences. Additionally, I have dedicated three years as a specialist in occupational safety and health in the mining sector, prioritizing the well-being of workers. Likewise, for three years, I have worked as a natural disaster risk evaluator, applying my knowledge to contribute to the prevention and management of environmental risks. My career reflects a balance between professional practice, committed teaching and continuous research in favor of sustainability and environmental safety.
