Professor and researcher, and director of the Civil Engineering EAP at Continental University. She is a RENACYT researcher with more than 35 publications indexed in Scopus. She is a member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD-UNESCO). She has a former scholarship from the Japanese government and the Chilean government. She was a researcher on earthquakes and tsunamis at the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation of the Peruvian Navy. She holds a Master's degree in Disaster Management from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Japan. She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Continental University and a degree in Physics from the National University of San Marcos. She has won gold and silver medals in the 2024 and 2025 KIWIE competitions in South Korea.
