Director of Research and research professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Continental University. Postgraduate teacher in the Master of Science with a major in Disaster Risk Management and Social Responsibility. She holds a Master of Disaster Management from the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS, Japan). Winner of the "Best Research Award Tsunami Disaster Mitigation" with the thesis: "Real-Time Tsunami Inundation Forecast Study in Chimbote city, Peru" (13 Sep 2017) developed at Earthquake Research Institute, Tokyo University. Full member of the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD-UNESCO). Former JICA-Peru and JICA-Chile Fellow. Diploma in Tsunamis, Threat and Vulnerability from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile (2015). Internships in conferences and international presentations in Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica and Japan. Qualified researcher in the National Registry of Science, Technology and Technological Innovation (RENACYT). Research area: Disaster Risk Management, Seismology and Tsunamis.
