Personal profile

Linguist and lecturer in General Studies Humanities at Universidad Continental, with a Master's degree in Quality and Improvement of Education from the Autonomous University of Madrid. From a linguistic perspective, I have conducted research on Amazonian and indigenous languages of Peru, with a special focus on recognizing the rights of their speakers by identifying the characteristics of their languages and their registers. I have also specialized in the Spanish of Lima, contrasting it with other varieties in the Hispanic world, regarding its use in everyday contexts from a sociolinguistic perspective. In my teaching career, I have participated in identifying educational gaps among marginalized populations, such as the Roma community in the Community of Madrid, and in identifying the characteristics of the school environment that contribute to the educational success of these populations. For the past nine years, I have worked at prestigious universities in Lima as a lecturer and administrative staff member, as well as in public institutions.
