Medalit Thalia Segura Yurivilca, Prof

I am a registered nurse, having graduated in 2017. I completed my rural service (SERUMS) from 2018 to 2019, during which time I earned two diplomas: one in Neonatology and another in Neonatal Intensive Care. In 2019, I began my specialization in Neonatology, graduating as a specialist in 2021. From 2019 to 2021, I worked as a neonatal nurse at the Anglo-American Clinic, and then at the Jesús del Norte Clinic, also as a neonatal nurse. During the pandemic, I joined the San Bartolomé National Teaching Mother and Child Hospital, where I worked as a neonatal nurse and a nurse in the COVID-19 NICU from 2020 to 2021. In 2022, I began working at ESSALUD, at the Bicentennial Hospital in Jauja, where I currently coordinate neonatology, handling both clinical and administrative aspects. In 2024 I joined as a nursing instructor for the practical part at Continental University where to this day I am a full-time instructor and a nurse at ESSALUD.
