Máximo Óscar Luis Martínez Salirosas is a Peruvian philosopher and researcher specializing in political philosophy, philosophy of law, epistemology, and education. He completed his undergraduate studies in Philosophy at the National University of San Marcos (UNMSM), where he earned his bachelor's and licentiate degrees. He subsequently earned a master's degree from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and a doctorate from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. He is also pursuing a master's degree in Education at the National University of Huancavelica.
He has undertaken academic residencies and international internships at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), and the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla (BUAP). His academic activity includes university teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at institutions such as the National University of San Cristóbal de Huamanga and the National University of Central Peru, where he has taught courses in philosophy, ethics, university culture, and inclusion.
He has extensive experience in research and academic publication, with articles, books, translations, and edited works on the philosophy of education, Latin American thought, and critical theory. He has been a researcher in the research program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and an editor for publishing projects related to philosophy and social sciences. He has also participated as a speaker, organizer, and collaborator in numerous national and international conferences and academic meetings.
