Associate Professor and Research Professor at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of the Americas (Chile), and member of the Academic Core of the Master's Program in Community Health. He holds a PhD in Medical Sciences from the University of Almería, Spain, and a PhD in Developmental Sciences and Psychopathology from the University of Development, Chile. He also holds a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Chile and a Master's degree in Developmental Sciences and Psychopathology. He currently serves as a doctoral thesis advisor in the PhD Program in Public and Global Health at Continental University, Peru. His research focuses on public mental health, with a special emphasis on the study of stigma, self-stigma, and mental health help-seeking. He has conducted research on depressive symptoms, psychological well-being, help-seeking trajectories, and innovative interventions based on digital tools and virtual reality. Her work integrates longitudinal designs, experimental studies, qualitative methodologies, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and advanced quantitative modeling. She has experience in university teaching, thesis supervision and advising, as well as in scientific publication in indexed journals of national and international scope.
