Pharmaceutical Chemical Professional, with 25 years of experience in teaching at UNMSM, in the area of Basic Sciences Chemistry, Biochemistry and Pharmacology. With postgraduate studies in Master's degrees in Biochemistry and Pharmacology at UNMSM in 2000 and with a Ph.D. in Pharmacy and Biochemistry 2010 I have carried out experimental research in Basic Pharmacology during the first years from 95 to 2002 and I am currently working in the area of education using ICTs as teaching management tools both in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees through active learning methodologies such as PBL, Project-oriented learning, case method through a competency assessment. My orientation towards the bioequivalence of generic drugs began in 2000 and I have carried out consultations and trainings on this subject from 2002 to date, both for DIGEMID, MINSA, and NGOs. In the country we have drugs that must pass the bioequivalence certification, such as those with a narrow therapeutic margin, including anticonvulsants: Carbamazepine, Valproate, Phenytoin, immunomodulators: Cyclosporine, Mycophenolate mofetil, also levothyroxine, clavulanic acid, among others. I am working incorporating action research to improve the processes of higher education in Basic Sciences at the UNMSM Faculty of Medicine, counting on the main actors of our work; the students we requested through individual interviews and focus groups, how they learned in our subjects and what level of learning they have achieved. We do the planning for the improvement intervention with them and then we validate this implementation, I am part of a research team and in 2010 and 2013 we have obtained the Second Prize at the national level in medical education through this research methodology using active methodologies and ITcs to improve learning processes and raise their quality
