Medical Epidemiologist-Researcher, graduated from the Master of Science in Epidemiological Research from Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH). He has a solid background in biostatistical and epidemiological methods. He has been a fellow of the Fogarty Center of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the United States. He has a Fellowship in Global Health sponsored by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIHM) and the University of California, San Diego, to assess the impact of climate change on mental health. Researcher at UPCH in Emerge, Emerging Diseases and Climate Change Research Unit. Winner of the Kaelin Award 2020 Edition of the Institute for Health Technology Assessment and Research (IETSI-EsSalud) as principal co-investigator. Former president and adviser of the Latin American Federation of Scientific Societies of Medical Students (FELSOCEM). Lecturer and winner of national and international scientific awards. He presents scientific publications and is a referee in indexed journals. Interested in evaluating the impact of climate change on mental health, he also develops the line of global health, emerging diseases and chronic diseases. He has been a researcher at the Directorate of Health Research - IETSI EsSalud. He is currently Head of Epidemiology at the Lambayeque Regional Hospital and a researcher at the Continental University.
