He is a medical surgeon and a graduate in Psychology, with a Master's degree in Medicine with a specialization in Epidemiology and a Master's degree in Precision Oncology: Genomics and Big Data in Oncology. A graduate of a doctorate in Medicine and a certified medical auditor, his academic training and professional experience consolidate him as a multidisciplinary expert in health. He is currently a professor of Epidemiology at the Professional Academic School of Human Medicine at Continental University, where he also holds the position of Research Coordinator in the Faculty of Health Sciences. In the public sector, he works as an epidemiologist and head of the Health Intelligence Office at the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the Center (IREN Centro), a position he has held since 2020. He is also a full member of the Ethics Committee and a reviewer of research projects at the same institution. His career includes key roles as Director of Cancer Control at IREN Centro, Medical Director and attending physician at ESSALUD Junín, and collaboration on research projects with prestigious institutions. Its commitment to epidemiological surveillance, innovation, and research has positioned it as a benchmark in the medical and academic fields. Thanks to its leadership, the IREN Center has achieved first place in the national hospital cancer registry for the second consecutive year.
