He is a medical doctor and holds a degree in psychology, a bachelor's degree in law, a master's degree in medicine with a specialization in epidemiology, and a master's degree in precision oncology: genomics and big data in oncology. A graduate of the doctoral program in medicine, a certified medical auditor, and a researcher recognized by RENACYT (National Registry of Science, Technology and Innovation), his academic background and professional experience solidify his position as a multidisciplinary professional in health, research, and healthcare management. Currently, he teaches epidemiology in the Human Medicine program at Universidad Continental, where he also serves as Research Coordinator in the Faculty of Health Sciences. In the public sector, he works as a medical epidemiologist and head of the Health Intelligence Office at the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the Center (IREN Centro), a position he has held since 2020. He is also a full member of the Ethics Committee and a reviewer of research projects at the same institution. His career also includes roles as Director of Cancer Control at IREN Centro, Medical Director and Attending Physician at EsSalud Junín, in addition to his participation in research projects with academic and healthcare institutions. His commitment to epidemiological surveillance, research, and innovation has positioned him as a leading figure in the medical and academic fields. Thanks to his leadership, IREN Centro has achieved first place nationally in the Hospital Cancer Registry for the third consecutive year.
