He is a surgeon and a graduate in Psychology, with a master's degree in Oncology of Genomic Precision and Big Data in Oncology. A graduate of the doctorate in Medicine and a certified medical auditor, his academic training and professional experience consolidate him as a multidisciplinary expert in health. Currently, he is a professor of Epidemiology at the Academic Professional School of Human Medicine at the Universidad Continental, where he also holds the position of Research Coordinator at the Faculty of Health Sciences. In the public sector, he works as a medical epidemiologist and head of the Health Intelligence Office at the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the Centro (IREN Centro), a position he has held since 2020. He is also a full member of the Ethics Committee and reviewer of research projects at the same institution. His career includes key roles as director of Cancer Control at the IREN Centro, medical director and attending physician at ESSALUD Junín, and collaboration in research projects with prestigious institutions. Its commitment to epidemiological surveillance, innovation and research has positioned it as a reference in the medical and academic fields. Thanks to its leadership, the IREN Centro has achieved first place nationally in the hospital cancer registry for the second consecutive year.
