Personal profile
An undergraduate student at the School of Human Medicine at Continental University,
she has ongoing training in scientific research writing, leadership, and initiative in
health innovation. She is characterized by her consistent application of research findings, her interest in
investigating what is still unknown in health, and especially in generating change and
information in remote and low-resource areas.
Throughout her studies, she has completed clinical rotations at various hospitals in the region, such as the Daniel Alcides Carrión Hospital, EsSalud, and the El Carmen Regional Teaching Maternal and Child Hospital, an internship at the Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases of the Center (2016), and a primary care rotation at the Chilca Health Center, where she observed diverse
approaches to research and its management, in addition to a clinical focus.
I initiated a line of research in the area of genetics, raising awareness of the situation faced by many patients who cannot obtain adequate treatment. I also conducted research in the area of public health on kidney health issues. Furthermore, I actively participate in research groups and initiatives focused on artificial intelligence applied to health, telemedicine, and published research in the areas of infectious diseases and cancer. In the field of scientific leadership, I have coordinated research groups and co-founded various research lines at SOCIMEC, teaching others how to conduct research and helping them achieve publication. I also served as Past Deputy Director of the Permanent Academic and Scientific Committee, Vice President of the VIII Continental Scientific Conference (2025), and coordinator of the research area for the I Oncology Research Internship at IREN Centro (2026). It has scientific production presented at CONASEIN 2025 and participates in the development of a clinical case and research and intervention projects in remote communities in Peru, with an emphasis on digital health and equitable access to healthcare.
