Medical doctor and psychiatry resident at Víctor Larco Herrera Hospital, Lima, Peru. A RENACYT researcher with over 30 publications in indexed journals, he is recognized as one of the most productive authors in medical education research in Peru and Latin America.
His research focuses on four main areas: (1) evidence synthesis and bibliometrics in medical education; (2) well-being and burnout in healthcare professionals, including latent profiles and causal factors such as workplace violence; (3) transdiagnostic perspectives in mental health, with an emphasis on dimensional frameworks such as the Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) applied to the study of depression phenotypes and psychometric network architecture; and (4) artificial intelligence applied to enhancing medical education and mental health.
He has published in journals such as Scientific Reports, PLoS ONE, BMC Medical Education, Medical Teacher, Educación Médica, and Frontiers in Public Health. Her work employs advanced methods such as network analysis, latent profiling, propensity scoring, and AI-assisted quality assessment.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Public and Global Health at Universidad Continental, where she seeks to integrate dimensional psychopathology, computational neuroscience, and precision medical education to transform psychiatric training and research in Latin America.
