Flaminia Maietti is a professor of Human Rights and Community Law at the Universidad Continental. She holds a degree in International Relations with a specialization in International Humanitarian Law, a Master's degree in International Protection of Human Rights from the University La Sapienza in Rome, Italy, and a Master's degree in Languages ​​for International Communication from the University Guglielmo Marconi in Rome, Italy. In her professional career, she has worked for different international organizations and civil society organizations, including CEAS, the Episcopal Commission for Social Action in Lima (Peru), where she worked in the area of ​​​​Human Rights Protection, Reconciliation and Memory, UN Women - Regional Headquarters for East and South-East Asia in Bangkok, Thailand as a Program Associate on Violence against Women, for the Italian Red Cross as a Program Associate in the Office for the Implementation of International Humanitarian Law at the Rome headquarters and for ECLAC, the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, where she worked as a Researcher. She has participated as an advisor to teams in international moot courts.
