Edilson Jimmy Requena Rojas is a Forest and Environmental Engineer from the Universidad Nacional del Centro del Perú, with a Master's degree in Applied Ecology from the Universidad Nacional Agraria la Molina. associate researcher at the Missouri Botanical Garden in Peru. His research lines are: dendrochronology, ecosystem services, climate change and hydrology. In recent years he has participated in various projects at the national and international level with funds from FINCyT, the Ibero-American Program of Science and Technology for Development (CYTED) and the International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO). With presentations at congresses and conferences in Chile, Cuba, Brazil, Paraguay and Peru.
