Diana Katterine Bonilla-Aldana, D.V.M., M.Sc., graduated from the Universidad de la Amazonia, Facultad de Medicina Veterinaria y Zootecnia, in Florencia, Colombia, in 2015. I completed a Master of Science in Microbiology, Universidad Metropolitana, Barranquilla, Colombia , in 2019. I worked as a Junior Researcher, Public Health and Infections Research Group, Faculty of Health Sciences, Technological University of Pereira (UTP), in Pereira, Risaralda, Colombia. I am a member of the Colombian Association of Infectious Diseases (ACIN) and the International Society of Infectious Diseases (ISID). Member of the Committee of Tropical Medicine, Zoonoses and Travel Medicine of the ACIN. I have been recognized as Associate Researcher, Ministry of Science in Colombia, MinCiencias. Member of the editorial committees of Frontiers in Tropical Diseases, and World Veterinary Journal. My main research interest is the study of zoonotic diseases, especially tick-borne and vector-borne.
