Personal profile
Biologist, Master in Wood Sciences and Technology, PhD in Applied Botany from the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA), Minas Gerais, Brazil. PhD in anatomy and identification of the wood of tropical forest species from the Continental University, Huancayo, Peru. Specialist in anatomy and identification of the structure of wood, coal and the bark of tropical species in Brazil, Peru and Paraguay. Studies in ecological anatomy and anthracology. Use and exploitation of timber species. Chemical products of wood, as potentiality of phenolic compounds of wood and bark.
He has participated in different projects for the formation of Xilotecas, wood biodegradation, dendrochronology, wood identification, plant anatomy, among others in Brazil, Peru and Paraguay. Recently, she has participated as a postdoctoral researcher in the MaderApp project, being part of the scientific team responsible for the anatomical certification of wood, with financing from the World Bank and CONCYTEC. Research professor at the Continental University, Huancayo, Peru. She has participated as a guest and speaker, presenting the MaderApp project at the United Nations event against drugs and crimes (UNODC) of the
event "Fostering academic and scientific knowledge to combat illegal deforestation" in Vienna, Austria, in December 2022, following up on the SDGs OF THE UNITED NATIONS.
