A chemist graduated from the National University of San Antonio Abad del Cusco (UNSAAC), he has experience in the physicochemical analysis of water, soil, and food. His research focuses on the development of polymeric materials, such as hydrogels, for the absorption of heavy metals and their application in controlled drug release. He completed a research stay at the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology of the CSIC (ICTP-CSIC) in Madrid, Spain, where he was part of the Functional Polymers (FUPOL) group. He demonstrates a particular interest in the development of innovative biomaterials for medical and environmental applications, with the aim of contributing to the advancement of sustainable, high-impact solutions.
